About the Event
Join us on Thursday, October 10th, from 11 AM to 12:30 PM for a special painting class in celebration of World Mental Health Day. Explore your creativity and focus on self-care through art! This class is perfect for all skill levels – no prior painting experience is necessary.
The theme of this session is Self-Care and Identity. Each participant will create a unique self-portrait, but don’t worry – it doesn’t have to look realistic! This is about capturing who you are and what brings you joy. Use your favorite colors, symbols of your hobbies, and abstract designs to express your personality and what self-care means to you.
Class Fee: $20
Fee includes class, supplies, and an 11x14 canvas.
Unwind, relax, and discover how art can support mental wellness.
Notes: The Arts for Lawrence Visual Arts Center is located on the Fort Ben Cultural Campus. Off of 56th Street, you will turn North on Post…
