About the Event
Thankful Stones (55+)| November 2025
Join us for a creative and meaningful afternoon of rock painting! In this relaxing class designed for adults ages 55+, teaching artist Alicia Thomas will guide participants in creating their own Thankful Stones — a beautiful reminder to pause and reflect on gratitude.
Each participant will receive smooth stones and a decorative ceramic pumpkin bowl to hold them. You’ll paint your stones with images or words of thankfulness, making a one-of-a-kind keepsake that brings positivity and peace to any space.
All materials are provided — just bring your creativity and an open heart!

As a reminder, all class registrations and ticket sales are final. In the event of a cancellation, tickets may be exchanged for another performance date or event. If a class is canceled, refunds or exchanges will be made available to registered participants.

Parking / Finding Our Facilities
Parking for Arts for Lawrence is anywhere next to the blue stars on the map below. Amphitheater parking is also available EXCEPT during concerts and festivals. Parking is also available next to 56th Street after 6:30 PM. The parking lot next to our facility is NOT for Theater or FBCC parking.
