Shakespeare at the Fort: A Midsummer Night's Dream
Cupid is Armed and Dangerous in this Shakespearean Rom-Com! Join Arts for Lawrence and Bard Fest for this FREE outdoor production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Come early to enjoy food trucks, kids' activities, a beer and wine tent, and preshow music from the Pork & Beans Brass Band.

About the Event
Preshow entertainment by the Pork and Beans Brass Band begins at 6:30 PM.
Bard Fest's A Midsummer Night's Dream, directed by Matthew Socey begins at 7:30 PM.
Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and picnics. Food is available for purchase from, The Mad Griddle and Yungsdays Sundaes. No outside alcohol allowed.

As a reminder, all class registrations and ticket sales are final. In the event of a cancellation, tickets may be exchanged for another performance date or event. If a class is canceled, refunds or exchanges will be made available to registered participants.

Parking / Finding Our Facilities
Parking for Arts for Lawrence is anywhere next to the blue stars on the map below. Amphitheater parking is also available EXCEPT during concerts and festivals. Parking is also available next to 56th Street after 6:30 PM. The parking lot next to our facility is NOT for Theater or FBCC parking.
