About the Event
AI Workshop:
Description: Love it or hate it, A.I. is making huge waves around the world. In this gathering we’ll try to separate fact from fiction. We’ll explore topics such as: Could A.I. replace human poets? What are current A.I. writing capabilities? Is it possible to tell human writing from A.I.? What are the ethics of writers using A.I. and what policies do literary publications have on its use? Join us for an evening presentation and riveting discussion!
Author bio: M. A. Dubbs is an award-winning Mexican-American and LGBT poet from Indiana. For over a decade, Dubbs has published writing in magazines and anthologies across ten countries with notable publications including Penn Review, Oyster River Pages, & Pacific Review, among many others. Notable awards include the 2023 Holden Vaughn Spangler Award, Best-of-Poetry Award Fall 2014 from Genesis, & 3rd Place in the Social Justice category at the 2024 Mukai Farm & Garden Haiku Festival…

As a reminder, all class registrations and ticket sales are final. In the event of a cancellation, tickets may be exchanged for another performance date or event. If a class is canceled, refunds or exchanges will be made available to registered participants.

Parking / Finding Our Facilities
Parking for Arts for Lawrence is anywhere next to the blue stars on the map below. Amphitheater parking is also available EXCEPT during concerts and festivals. Parking is also available next to 56th Street after 6:30 PM. The parking lot next to our facility is NOT for Theater or FBCC parking.
