Melinda plans an informative workshop on submitting poetry to Indiana publishers.
M. A. Dubbs is an award-winning Mexican-American and LGBT+ poet and artist who hails from Indiana. For more than a decade her writing has been published in literary magazines, anthologies, and zines across the globe. In 2022 she released her first chapbook, , (Bottlecap Press), was nominated for a Pushcart Prize from Oyster River Pages, and served as a judge for Indiana's state Poetry Out Loud competition. She recently won the 2023 Holden Vaughn Spangler Award and her black-out poem "America Posenity '' will be exhibited in December in Tokyo, Japan with zerofeedback.An American Mujer

As a reminder, all class registrations and ticket sales are final. In the event of a cancellation, tickets may be exchanged for another performance date or event. If a class is canceled, refunds or exchanges will be made available to registered participants.

Parking / Finding Our Facilities
Parking for Arts for Lawrence is anywhere next to the blue stars on the map below. Amphitheater parking is also available EXCEPT during concerts and festivals. Parking is also available next to 56th Street after 6:30 PM. The parking lot next to our facility is NOT for Theater or FBCC parking.
