Book description: A Walk to Americana (Dancing Girl Press, 2025) is a curated collection of free verse and blackout poetry by Hoosier poet M. A. Dubbs. In Dubbs' most political work yet, it explores the most pressing topics in the modern United States: climate change, social justice, wealth inequality, war, and what it means to be an American. Includes the Pushcart Nominated poem "The Conquest of Hoarding" (2022 nomination by Oyster River Pages) along with poetry previously published in Heartland Society of Women Writers, the Spirit & Place Leave Them Something 2021 Anthology, and Queer Out Here Issue 9, among others.

Parking / Finding Our Facilities
Parking for Arts for Lawrence is anywhere next to the blue stars on the map below. Amphitheater parking is also available EXCEPT during concerts and festivals. Parking is also available next to 56th Street after 6:30 PM. The parking lot next to our facility is NOT for Theater or FBCC parking.
