About the Event
Tuesday, June 24, 2025: M.A. Dubbs | A Workshop: Creating a Writer's Website, Blog and Social Media Accounts
M.A. Dubbs is an award winning Mexican American and LGBT+ writer who hails from Indiana. Her writing has been published in literary magazines, anthologies, and zines across the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, India, Austria, Australia and Nigeria. Dubbs is the author of three poetry collections: Aerodynamic Drag: Poetry and Short Fiction (2021), An American Mujer (Bottlecap Press, 2022) and Limestone versified: Indiana Haiku and Poetry (2023). Her fourth poetry collection, A Walk to Americana, releases in 2025 with Dancing Girl Press.

As a reminder, all class registrations and ticket sales are final. In the event of a cancellation, tickets may be exchanged for another performance date or event. If a class is canceled, refunds or exchanges will be made available to registered participants.

Parking / Finding Our Facilities
Parking for Arts for Lawrence is anywhere next to the blue stars on the map below. Amphitheater parking is also available EXCEPT during concerts and festivals. Parking is also available next to 56th Street after 6:30 PM. The parking lot next to our facility is NOT for Theater or FBCC parking.
