Paint Like Alma Thomas!🎨 Acrylic Painting Class with Kathryn Coleman
🕒 1.5 hours | All materials provided | Ages 10+
📍 Visual Arts Center at Arts for Lawrence
🖌️ Three unique class dates — each one features a different painting!
Discover the vibrant world of Alma Thomas in this fun, hands-on acrylic painting class! Led by local artist Kathryn Coleman, students will create their own fall-inspired artwork using colorful “dashes” that echo Thomas’s joyful and expressive style.
In just 90 minutes, you’ll complete an 8x10 canvas to take home the same day.
Refund Policy
As a reminder, all class registrations and ticket sales are final. In the event of a cancellation, tickets may be exchanged for another performance date or event. If a class is canceled, refunds or exchanges will be made available to registered participants.

Parking / Finding Our Facilities
Parking for Arts for Lawrence is anywhere next to the blue stars on the map below. Amphitheater parking is also available EXCEPT during concerts and festivals. Parking is also available next to 56th Street after 6:30 PM. The parking lot next to our facility is NOT for Theater or FBCC parking.
