Notes: We recommend wearing clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. If possible, cut nails short for the session, it makes working with clay easier!

In Intro to Hand Building, you will learn basic slab and coil building techniques and will be guided through the process of creating a piece from start to finish. If you are brand new to clay or are looking to try something different from wheel throwing, this class is for you! Registration includes tools, 25lbs of clay, glaze, and firing. Students may purchase additional clay and open studio time for a nominal fee if desired.
