Intro to Digital Art, with Procreate
Join AFL resident artist Gary Schmitt for this 4-week course to learn the basics of Procreate! Procreate has everything you need to create expressive sketches, rich paintings, gorgeous illustrations, and beautiful animations. iPads and iPencils provided. This class is for ages 12+.

Class Ages: 12 +
Notes: Dress comfortably
By the end of this course, you will have a basic understanding of Procreate software. Â Students will create a favorite or original cartoon character. Â Depending on proficiency, students might design a title image with other cartoon cells, including creating a storyboard.Â
iPads & iPencils are provided for each student thanks to the generous support of the Lilly Endowment, Inc. capital grant through CICF SYPF.Â

As a reminder, all class registrations and ticket sales are final. In the event of a cancellation, tickets may be exchanged for another performance date or event. If a class is canceled, refunds or exchanges will be made available to registered participants.

Parking / Finding Our Facilities
Parking for Arts for Lawrence is anywhere next to the blue stars on the map below. Amphitheater parking is also available EXCEPT during concerts and festivals. Parking is also available next to 56th Street after 6:30 PM. The parking lot next to our facility is NOT for Theater or FBCC parking.
