About the Event

Class Ages: 12 +

Notes: Dress comfortably

We will be sketching on paper to start but the emphasis will be on building with repurposed cardboard, etc. that will be supplied. Students are welcome to bring their own materials and tools if desired. A building template will be available for those students at the beginning or intermediate levels, but all students will choose the general style they want to pursue. Due to the variety of model-making experiences that potential students may have, it is strongly advised that you should contact Gary Schmitt at: garyschmittsculpture@gmail.com well before the first class meeting. Instruction: by Gary Schmitt, one of the current Arts for Lawrence Resident Artists, who has worked with sculpture and model-making for many years.
