About the Event
Dates: Four classes on Thursdays (July 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th)
Time of each class: 6:30-8:30 pm
Class Ages: 10+
Never done pottery or touched clay in your life!? No worries we got you! This four-week class is perfect for beginners or intermediate potters. Over four classes, you will learn basic throwing techniques and will be guided through the process of how to create work on the wheel from start to finish. If you are brand new to clay and still struggle with centering or throwing a cylinder, this class is for you! Registration includes tools, 25 lbs of clay, glaze, and firing.

As a reminder, all class registrations and ticket sales are final. In the event of a cancellation, tickets may be exchanged for another performance date or event. If a class is canceled, refunds or exchanges will be made available to registered participants.

Parking / Finding Our Facilities
Parking for Arts for Lawrence is anywhere next to the blue stars on the map below. Amphitheater parking is also available EXCEPT during concerts and festivals. Parking is also available next to 56th Street after 6:30 PM. The parking lot next to our facility is NOT for Theater or FBCC parking.
