About the Event
Figure Drawing Open Studio Join us for a relaxed, self-paced life drawing session featuring a live nude model every 3rd Sunday from 5-8pm. This open studio is designed for artists of all levels to practice and explore the human form without instruction. The session begins with a series of short gesture poses and gradually transitions into longer poses, giving you the opportunity to create detailed sketches or completed drawings.
Bring your own materials and settle in to draw at your own pace in a supportive, focused environment. Please note: Attendees must be 18+ due to the presence of a nude model.
Notes: Dress comfortably. The Figure Drawing class will now take place inside the Theater at the Fort.
Please enter through the back entrance of the theater (glass double doors), near the musical swings on the Fort Ben Cultural Campus. Once inside, you can take the stairs or elevator to the second floor. The…

As a reminder, all class registrations and ticket sales are final. In the event of a cancellation, tickets may be exchanged for another performance date or event. If a class is canceled, refunds or exchanges will be made available to registered participants.

Parking / Finding Our Facilities
Parking for Arts for Lawrence is anywhere next to the blue stars on the map below. Amphitheater parking is also available EXCEPT during concerts and festivals. Parking is also available next to 56th Street after 6:30 PM. The parking lot next to our facility is NOT for Theater or FBCC parking.
