About the Class:
Core Craft utilizes five core exercises outlined in Uta Hagen’s A Challenge for the Actor to help the actor create a full, vibrant, engaging life onstage. Students will be challenged to observe and recreate three-minute scenes from their own lives to bring richness and honesty to their onstage life. Each practical exercise is designed to work on specific behaviors to apply these techniques to enhance and enrich their work.
About the Instructor:
Eric Bryant studied with Oscar-winning actress Sandy Dennis and Senior Teacher Carol Rosenfeld at HB Studio in New York. After touring the country in two separate productions of The Three Musketeers, Eric began studying at Circle Rep Lab under the instruction of Michael Warren Powell and Peg Denithorne, initially focusing on the works of Lanford Wilson. From this experience, Eric was asked to become a member of The Lab Theater, which focused on artist development and developing new scripts.
