About the Event
Dates: Every Thursday - 9/8, 9/15, 9/22 all from 7 - 9 PM.
Class Ages: 13+
Notes: We recommend wearing clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
This class will cover the fundamentals of acrylic painting; for example different types of acrylic paint, brush selection, & common techniques. Demos & examples will be provided so that participants can work from reference. Painting by its nature is stress relieving so this is a wonderful activity for public servants who want to explore their creativity.Â

As a reminder, all class registrations and ticket sales are final. In the event of a cancellation, tickets may be exchanged for another performance date or event. If a class is canceled, refunds or exchanges will be made available to registered participants.

Parking / Finding Our Facilities
Parking for Arts for Lawrence is anywhere next to the blue stars on the map below. Amphitheater parking is also available EXCEPT during concerts and festivals. Parking is also available next to 56th Street after 6:30 PM. The parking lot next to our facility is NOT for Theater or FBCC parking.
