About the Event
3rd Sunday Jazz Concerts series – A monthly series curated and performed by bassist and composer, Brandon Meeks to highlight regional jazz talent and create meaningful cultural experiences in community spaces.
Rooted in Black American music, it features top-tier musicians from Chicago, Cincinnati, Louisville, and beyond in performances that celebrate improvisation, storytelling, and cultural connection. Each show is a space where live jazz thrives - soulful, collaborative, and deeply creative.
This event is free and open to the public. Bring a lawn chair, and come spend a relaxing afternoon filled with live music, food trucks, and community on the Fort Ben Cultural Campus.
Refund Policy
As a reminder, all class registrations and ticket sales are final. In the event of a cancellation, tickets may be exchanged for another performance date or event. If a class is canceled, refunds or exchanges will be made available to registered participants.

Parking / Finding Our Facilities
Parking for Arts for Lawrence is anywhere next to the blue stars on the map below. Amphitheater parking is also available EXCEPT during concerts and festivals. Parking is also available next to 56th Street after 6:30 PM. The parking lot next to our facility is NOT for Theater or FBCC parking.
