About the Event
Private Lessons
Private one-on-one lessons are available for $85 per hour. Email Riley Neumeier at artassistant@artsforlawrence.org for more information and scheduling of private lessons.
Private Events
Private Events are perfect for team bonding, get-togethers, birthday parties (children or adults), and family gatherings. The studio can be rented for $300 for 2 hours and can accommodate up to 8 guests. To check availability and reserve the studio for your event, email Riley Neumeier at artassistant@artsforlawrence.org.
Pieces created at your event are fired, glazed, and finished by staff, and are available for pickup three weeks following your event. You can choose if your guests would like to wheel throw or handbuild. In Wheel throwing, you will be guided through the basic steps of how to throw a cylinder on the wheel and will have the opportunity to make and keep up to three pieces. Handbuilding projects vary based on age and client preference. Project options include mugs, pinch pot animals, holiday items, and more!
Refund Policy
As a reminder, all class registrations and ticket sales are final. In the event of a cancellation, tickets may be exchanged for another performance date or event. If a class is canceled, refunds or exchanges will be made available to registered participants.

Parking / Finding Our Facilities
Parking for Arts for Lawrence is anywhere next to the blue stars on the map below. Amphitheater parking is also available EXCEPT during concerts and festivals. Parking is also available next to 56th Street after 6:30 PM. The parking lot next to our facility is NOT for Theater or FBCC parking.
